Bio
My name is Jay Fraser and I first started with magic about 5 years ago. Originally it was my son that was interested, and I played along and watched what he had to show. Soon, however, the magic bug bit and bit HARD! I began at home and then brought my few tricks to the bar I was working at. It went over huge and I’ve never looked back. In the 5 years since I started I have been to a couple Society of American Magician Conventions, and several lectures by world famous magicians such as Boris Wild, Chris Capehart, and Richard Sanders. Each has their own style and I try and absorb and learn as much from them as I can. A Creative Magic Experience started almost by accident. While bartending at the Sheraton Ferncroft Hotel, where I’ve been since May 2008, customers really made a big deal over the magic that I did and continued to ask me for business cards and what I’d charge to perform at their parties. I always did the magic for the smiles and shocked looks on the faces of the people I was performing for, but the thoughts of ‘making it big’ did have a certain ring to it . . . While I still perform for the smiles and the shocked looks, I have found that it is nice to be able to share that with others outside the bar setting. People I have met want to share the magical experience they had with family and friends, and by me coming into their homes and businesses they are able to do just that.
