Happy 2012 ! ! ! I hope everyone had as good of a 2011 as I did. My magic took me to some great places and let me celebrate with some wonderful people. I was asked to perform at the New England Aquarium for The American Heart Association and the It’s My Heart Boston Chapter at their Congenital Heart Defect Day. (Maybe a smile and some laughter really is the best medicine!) I also got the chance to perform at Gillette Stadium for a super fun evening with Leapfrog Systems at their holiday party. In addition to birthday and holiday parties, I also perfomed at my first party to celebrate an adoption. The party was fun and it was quite clear to me that this little girl is going to be loved by her adoptive parents and extended family, who drove in from other states to welcome her.
Along the way I met some great and supportive people too. For the 3rd year running, Carla King, a foster family recruiter, had me perform for her Foster Family Holiday Party as well as a party that she puts together for the less fortunate families in the area. The event ends with Santa arriving in a helicopter! (Everyone forgets about the magic guy when the Santa starts waving from the sky…) It was at one of these events where I met a professional photographer, Greg West. He offered me a photoshoot at his studio in Danvers to help promote myself and my magic. If he can make me look good, then anybody needing a photographer should really give him a try. 2011 brought many opputunities that I am so grateful for. I’m looking forward to some great shows this year, and I hope to see you there !
